Lord, look upon our Reno town,
Where desert meets the sky,
Where mountains guard the valley floor
As sunlit days pass by.
From Virginia Street’s iconic arch
To Truckee’s gentle flow,
We pray Your grace and healing love
On every heart below.
For those who wander in the dark,
Who do not know Your name,
Who bear the weight of quiet hurt,
Of hopelessness or shame—
Touch every life, Lord, by Your power,
And call them to Your grace,
That they may turn, repent, believe,
And seek Your holy face.
May waters wash away their past
As faith begins anew,
Committed fully to the Lord
In all they say and do.
And if their hearts yet hesitate
To yield to Christ the King,
Grant them the will to do what’s right
In every daily thing.
May honest hands and peaceful minds
Uphold our city’s light,
As noble neighbors, doing good,
And seeking what is right.
For all the faithful believers here
Who trust Your holy word,
Keep fire burning in their souls
For Jesus Christ the Lord.
Deepen our faith through humble prayer
And Scripture day by day,
In worship, love, and fellowship
Along the narrow way.
Empower us to speak Your truth,
To share the gospel’s call,
To carry out the Great Commission,
Offering life to all.
Bless every home, bless every street,
From valley to the peak,
Grant wisdom to our leaders now
And strength unto the weak.
May Reno rise as a shining light
Where peace and truth reside,
Forever anchored in Your grace,
With Jesus as our guide.
Amen.
