re homeowner near Abalobadiah Creek Bridge, 31101 Shoreline Hwy, Fort Bragg, CA 95437

Going northward just a little bit past the bridge, on the left will be a house down below, and a little ways past the house will be a gravel wayside. One morning I was there and I noticed there's a trail going down to the beautiful beach below with a rope to help you up & down.

So I went down there and just enjoyed the morning as the sun was rising and suddenly I see this guy and his dog walking toward me. The guy seems to be motioning something like I can't be there, like he's trying to say get out of here. So I walk towards him. His dogs are actually friendly but they come running at you like they're about to attack you.

He's mad because he thinks this is his beach, but I get him to admit that I can be by the shoreline. That's the law in the State of California- maybe everywhere- but for sure in California and enforced by the California Coastal Commission, among others.

He also told me he had a g*u*n.
But that he wouldn't sh*o*ot me.
I'm not sure what that was all about but it wasn't very welcoming to say the least. In a nutshell he was premature in accosting me.

If he wanted to approached me and tell me to get off his property he needed to wait until I was actually on his property, which I wasn't going to be or do. Its like somebody accosting you because you're walking on the sidewalk in front of their house. Maybe close, but still perfectly legal as everybody knows.

Just to let you know: beware of this guy. Maybe I'll contact some officials about this because his behavior was not appropriate.
